Clarity

Never have I felt more pain

Than that of violently becoming insane

It blazes like the sun and shines like the moon

The starry sky broken by the burn of falling too soon.

Mountains collapse in rockslides of silent thunder

Watch as they crash into dust ripping my mind asunder.

The peaceful hurt claiming my innocent thought

Inch tall I stand by and listen to the world contort.

Crunching, rewinding, cascading water falls into black.

You hear that? It's the sound water makes when it falls through a crack.

It sounds like a mute screaming. Can’t you hear?

Listen closely use your hands let go of fear.

Often to hear the light we must risk screaming in silence.

By ourselves surrounded by a world caught in defiance.

The chaos still raining showers of rock and ash

 Falling

     Slowly

           Silently

in the world's most beautiful crash.

Time is gone. Age is gone.

All we know is gone.

Swallowed up itself left us in nothing no wood no stone.

No home to go to No-one to cry to

Scared in silence, death looking upon its own veracity

It claims your life for a moment of Clarity.
